ABOUT US

DK Diesel began doing business in 1973. Owners, John Dagel and Al Kasperson operated out of a small building in Watertown, SD until March 1984 when growth required a move to their current larger facility. Two additional stalls were added in 1992.

In May of 2000, Rex Gerber, Jr. and Blaine Wollman purchased DK Diesel from Dagel & Kasperson. They brought 22 years of combined experience to the company.

In the spring of 2008 a 5,000 square foot addition was added to the Watertown location. Two additional stalls were added that would allow large farm equipment access to the shop to be easier repaired.

In January 2025, Kyle Dillman, one of DK Diesel's employees, purchased the company from Rex and Blaine.  Kyle brings an additional 10 years of experience to the company.   Rex and Blaine are still with the company in various positions.

DK Diesel is built on one basic idea, and that is to provide area diesel owners with service that is truly exceptional.
